Dr. Wayne Odle is a new author. His new book CPR-Candid Personal Reflections was published by Lulu in December of 2017. This book is not intended to be hurriedly read through like a fast-paced novel. Instead, it is hoped that you will take time for each day’s reading and pause, and think, and reflect on your own spiritual life, and meditate on the fascinating life and ministry of Jesus.
Wayne Odle, DMin., has labored in three different career fields. He has worked as a high school teacher in the UK, an ordained pastor in the Caribbean, the UK and the USA; and He also worked as a hospice chaplain in the USA. He has a strong desire to help others spend precious time with Jesus, using books of devotion and meditation. He loves to read, to walk, to travel, and to engage in missionary work. He and his wife Coral have three adult children and four grandchildren.
CPR attempts to help you do as the apostle Paul suggested in 2 Corinthians 13: 5 KJV – “…examine yourself whether ye be in the faith…” It also strives to do what God spoke about: “Look unto Me” Isaiah 45:22 and what the writer to the Hebrews suggested “Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith…” Hebrews 12:2
Candid Personal Reflections or CPR, is suitable for the individual, for couples and for small groups. This book will help you to pull back some of the spiritual masks you may have been using and look candidly at your private and public life, as well as the amazing, multifaceted nature and character of Jesus Christ. CPR is not a verse by verse Bible Commentary and is not intended to be an in-depth analysis or interpretation of the book of Revelation, with its many symbols.
